How to Help Users Join RebelBase
How do users find the invitation email?
If your invitee says they haven’t seen an invitation, send them an email saying: You should see an invitation near the top of your inbox. If you don't see one, please check alternative inboxes (including the spam box and the promo box). If you are having trouble, search for info@rebelbase.co and that should help you locate the email. When you find the invitation, click the link in the email and follow the prompts on-screen to set up your RebelBase account.
Help, my students are not able to accept the invitations. They get this popup: “Make sure you are logged in with the correct email before trying to accept an invitation!”
Ensure that you and your invitees are using a consistent email address to manage account changes and invitations. If their RebelBase account was created using one email address and new invitations are sent to a different email address, they’ll run into issues.
What if I try to send someone an invitation, but the platform says they’ve already been invited?
If you’ve already invited someone but they’re having difficulty finding the invitation, you can send them a nudge. In the hub, you’ll find this feature in the “Brain” page. In the top right corner of this page there’s a “Pending” box. Click “see all” and you’ll find a list of everyone you’ve invited who hasn’t accepted their invitation yet. Send them nudges to bring the invitation email to the top of their inbox.
Sometimes, you’ll try to invite someone but the invitation seems to never go through. One common reason for this is that they’ve already been invited, so they won’t receive new invitations. To see if this is the case, check in the “Pending” box in the “Brain” page. If you find their email in this list, send them a nudge.
Do users need to check their email to accept invitations?
No. Users can also manage their invitations through the “Notifications” page. This can be found at the top of any RebelBase page.
